Types of locking

Locking requirements also vary depending on the type of application. Feral Group has a solution for every problem, ranging from a minimalistic magnetic lock for interior joinery to lock cabinets with cylinder locks, 3 point locks, espagnolette locks, etc.

Magnetic closure

This is our most used application for interior joinery. A magnet is attached to the door frame together with a high-quality weather strip. This magnet has a traction force of 4 kg, withstands drafts without problems and is nevertheless not too heavy to use.

Day closure

If you would like to take a handle but do not want to lock the door, this is what you are looking for.

Lock case with cylinder closure

Our surface-mounted lock case with cylinder lock ensures that you can maintain the slenderness of the profiles, while still ensuring a solid seal. The lock cases are designed to be as slim as possible. All our locks are mounted flush, so no superstructure. In addition, the lock case itself and the solid milled pieces on the inside are made of stainless steel.

Cylinder closure in the profiling

If you find the surface-mounted lock box a bit too rustic, the lock can be integrated into the profile. A slightly heavier profile (50 mm) on the side of the lock is therefore necessary. However, all other profiles can be kept as slim as possible. With this application you also have the option to provide a 3-point closure.

Electroslot

An electric lock is possible in combination with a cylinder lock. Feral Group works with a 12 / 24V electric counter plate. Connection to intercom, code keyboard, etc. is possible here.

Espagnolette closure

For indoor and outdoor applications, espagnolette closure is often opted for. We have been working with the Piet Boon One espagnolette closure for many years. An espagnolette closure has the great advantage of the small construction dimensions. The windows remain at their slimmest. However, this closure can only be operated from the inside of the house.

Edge sliders / bolts

As soon as you switch to double doors – harmonica doors it is important that all wings are correctly locked. This is done with side shifts. Our side gates are of the highest quality (Jansen) and they are black !!. Fully recessed thanks to welded-in machined parts.
